A "traditional" family

Paul represents the third generation of "builders".

Grandpa Bortolo (class 1907), arrived in Latina (Littoria) very young before the Foundation took place in '32, he was a pioneer of Reclamation and participated in the building of the Municipality tower of Latina, in Piazza del Popolo.

He participated at direct building of several farms (O.N.C.), during and after the reclamation, in the Villages that surround the pontine city and with the infrastructures  created in the agricultural community that settled there.
Immediately after the war ('39 -'45), with his own construction company has worked for many others professional cooperatives in the historic city center, and has done several real estate projects on their own.
He was part of the first phase of immigration in the "new lands" and it can really be said that he has contributed to the construction of the "new town" and together with many others, was one of the first nucleus of the community that settled permanently on the spot.
He has really believed in the potential of our country and laid the foundation for its development, offering it to future generations.
The challenge was to contribute to the fulfillment of new housing and infrastructure needs, respect and preservation of the territory, aiming for an orderly development and on a human scale, aiming at improving the "quality of life."
